Researching angles for story and can't help but marvel at how incurable this disorder is, and how nothing can save them. So broken, which would be pitiful and worthy of care were they simply not monsters that harm and cheat and deceive. 

Always interested me in an academic sense to observe how far they will go to keep up appearances and try to manipulate you into seeing a version of them they want you to see. I always notice the anomalies. 

But I guess without the mask they feel like they are insignificant so what can you do?
