It's nice to watch the same film every few years, so many tiny things I missed about the departed earlier that I'm appreciating now. For some reason I've never seen internal affairs all these years. I really should get around to that too, see how similar or dissimilar the films are.

Checking some threads on how the two compare and a lot of film school buffs critique this one for being bloated and IA to be slick and pacey. Interesting. I'll have to see it at some point.
